In the role of Quality Assurance Manager, you will develop, establish, and enforce quality assurance practices and measures for all field facing projects, programs, processes, polices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Quality Assurance Manager:
  • Stay abreast of all field processes; including but not limited to: current practices, areas of opportunity, changing business/industry needs, needs of our customers, needs of our field associates
  • Spend time in our communities (with associates and customers) on a regular basis
  • Lead the development, establishment, and enforcement of quality assurance measures, testing and reporting standards for new and existing projects/programs/SOPs
  • Ensure that quality measures comply with regulatory standards, industry standards, accepted best practices and the goals/outcomes of the project/program
  • Stay abreast of QA industry trends/opportunities.
  • Manage the analysis of formal audits and test results to discover, report and correct any defects, errors, issues, and flaws
  • Develop change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing projects/programs/SOPs
  • Continuously be alert to trends and changes in quality related issues over the course of projects/programs/SOPs; set regular test intervals
  • Manage the development of test plans and scripts for tracking issues and corrections with development, pilot phases and rollout of all assigned projects/programs/SOPs
  • Work directly with and in some cases lead the staff in the field to apply established metrics and practices to determine the readiness, quality, and operability of the project/program/SOP
  • Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards
  • Manage third-party vendor relationship including the full audit process, training of auditors, development of reports, creation and adherence to SLAs, development and coordination of communications
  • Communicate test and QA progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Dotted-line leadership of all members of the quality assurance (QA) field team, manage the field team audit processes and ensure that deadlines are met
  • Train, coach, and mentor QA team, and other support center staff when necessary
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  • Collect compile and analyze statistical quality data
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities and identify training needs
  • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Responsible for document management systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years’ experience developing & executing QA processes; quality inspection, auditing and testing; industry experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study preferred
  • Certifications including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma
  • Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
  • Knowledge of tools, concept, analysis, and methodologies of QA; including applications and databases
  • Knowledge and experience in operations; field concepts, practices and procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel capabilities
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Financial acumen and the ability to interpret and analyze financial reports
